In May of 2021, Darin and Cat Adams established Schoolhouse Grill, a family owned and operated restaurant in Twin Oaks.
Built in 1935, the building served as the schoolhouse for the Community of Twin Oaks and Paris-Lorain until 1962.

In 1979, the Twin Oaks General Store was founded in the former Twin Oaks School building and in 2021, Darin and Cat Adams converted it to the Schoolhouse Grill which now serves as a restaurant and general store. The building still features original wood floors, chalkboards, and lots of schoolhouse charm!

Schoolhouse Grill serves handmade smash burgers, fresh cut fries, pastrami sandwiches, tri-tip sandwiches, pizza with house made dough, giant salads and much more! You won't leave Schoolhouse Grill hungry and if you can eat the Detention Burger, you get to try your hand and ringing the original school bell! We offer a variety of dessert
